Kinetic sculpture

The artwork is a kinetic sculpture and consists of a soft lump in a plastic bag that is raised in the air in a line. When the lump has reached its highest position, it reaches a button and shuts down the entire mechanism. The lamp goes out and the lump falls flat into the floor while it glows in the dark. When the lamp lights up again, the lump is lifted up again, causing a vicious circle of fall and rise. The fall in the artwork is self-inflicted.

 

The work is created together with visual artist Ninni Wager.
