Life-size stuffed dolls, cut-out horses and dinosaurs made of fabric, as well as the clay feet sporting sandals offer glimpses of a kind of spectacle or theater play – becoming acts of further wonderment.
These objects serve as stand-ins performing a variety of effects, from bodies to foleys, functioning as non-beings that nevertheless express something alive. They peel back the “buzz” of daily habits and customs to mimic conventional behavior in all its absurdity. Constantly in flux, they engage in a series of resurrections.
